Product Description:
PolyCryl® Plaster Polymer is a high-performance water-based, non-flammable acrylic liquid additive, designed to boost the flexural strength of casting plasters, making them both water-resistant and scratch-resistant. This is perfect for both casting and laminating applications and ideal for casts that are often handled or are fitted in high-traffic areas. It is best used with alpha plasters. We have carried out tests with excellent results, specifically with Crystacal R Plaster at a 2.5:1 plaster-to-polymer mix ratio.
With a demould time of 50 - 60 minutes, PolyCryl® makes production efficient without compromising quality. It's quick and easy to use. Mix mechanically using a battery drill and mixing blade for consistent, lump-free results.
PolyCryl®is also an excellent eco-friendly alternative to polyester resin for mould jackets; it delivers superior durability while reducing environmental impact.
