Alkali Resistant Fibreglass Strands (also known as choppies) are used to reinforce cement-based materials such as concrete, Cement Fondu, reconstituted stone, and Fibrocem.
Ideal for smaller casts where the scrim and fibreglass mat are too bulky or awkward to use.
Available by special order only. We encourage you to instead look at regular chopped strands if they fit your needs, as these are readily available.
This product is alkaline-resistant, so it can be used in cement-based mixes such as concrete and reconstituted stone.
