Product Description:
Neuthane™ is a 2-part polyurethane flexible moulding rubber for use in plaster and concrete casting. Neuthane™ is simple to use, has low viscosity and gives excellent detail reproduction and high tear strength. The mix ratio varies from 2 – 1 to 2 - 2, Base – Isocyanide; please see the table below.
The finished rubber gives:
- A high level of elasticity
- Good tear resistance
- Good abrasion resistance
- Low process temperatures
- Good dimensional stability
Typical Applications
- Concrete Industry (e.g. moulds for decorative slabs and walls)
- Plaster Mouldings
- Model making.
For the best results and long-term mould life, Neuthane™ moulds should be left for 7 days before entering production to allow full cure.
