Fillite

Fillite is a grey excellent lightweight filler of tiny hollow microspheres. Ideal for producing lightweight resin casts, the resin dramatically increases in volume when mixed with Fillite and thus reduces the weight and heat generated in large resin castings.

It is easier to send down than talc when used in resin.

We have also supplied it to the film industry to produce dust and smoke effects. As it is very lightweight it floats and swirls around very well with air movement.
