Description
Herculite Hardcoat is a favourite of scagliola craftsmen and is widely used in the manufacture of scagliola. It is a slow setting making it the ideal material to work with by hand, according to its devotees! It is also a high quality hard and smooth finishing material that can be polished up to a very high finish.
Manufactured as a specialist plaster to provide a hard surface finish on cork or expanded polystyrene slabs for use in cold storage rooms, refrigeration chambers and in the lagging of ducts in heating installations. Its gradual setting property allows for ample opportunity to bring the plaster to a smooth surface finish.
